How to treat Whiplash
Whiplash is treatable and in most cases completely resolve. You should seek medical health care if you are suffering from any whiplash symptoms. You will probably be prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and Physical Therapy might also be advised. A cervical collar will need to be worn for a couple of weeks. Heat therapy can relived muscle tensions and pain also muscle relaxants could also be beneficial.
If your symptoms have not eased after 6 to 8 weeks, you will be required to take x-rays and other diagnostic testing may be necessary. You might have suffered a more severe injury like damage to the intervertebral discs in which case you will need to have surgery.
